John Walko Racing
John Walko started driving is SCCA Club Formula Ford in 1994 before opening his own prep-shop in the mid-1990'S. Since 1999, as a crew chief and engineer in SCCA Formula Ford, Formula Continental, Formula Ford Zetec Championship and Star Mazda. Overall, his drivers have amassed 11 professional and 22 amateur wins, 37 podiums pro and 12 amateur podiums and 13 professional and 17 amateur poles.
Walko's drivers finished runner-up in points in both the 2005 Star Mazda Series and 2004 Formula Ford Zetec Series chanpionships and have won the SCCA RunOffs a total of four times. In addition to the four 1st place finishes, Walko's cars hace also posted 2nd and 3rd place finishes at the runOffs. Since 2003, John Walko has been honored with the distinction of "Crew Chief of the Year" in the Formula Ford Zetec Championship.

Past drivers John Walko have worked with include former IRL competitor PAul Dana, Star Mazda race winner, Graham Rahal (son of three-time CART Champion and Indy 500 Winner Bobby Rahal), 2005 Star Mazda Rookie of the Year and race winner, Robbie Pecorari, American LeMans Series driver Guy Cosmo, Grand-Am Cup driver and Formula Ford Zetec race winner Adam Pecorari, Formula Dorx Zetec race winner and championship runner-up Andrew Prendeville and Formula Ford Zetec race winner and NASCAR Elite Division SW Tour stock car competitor, Tom Dyer.
Operation
Operating out of the Pittsburgh, PA area, John Walko Racing has established a national reputation in the open-wheel racing arena. Their new state-of-the-art race shop in Trafford open-wheel program.
